Old Newingtonians’ Union

Founded in 1895, the purpose of the Old Newingtonians’ Union is to strengthen the bonds amongst past students and between past students and the College.

What is the ONU?

Founded in 1895, the purpose of the Old Newingtonians’ Union is to strengthen the bonds amongst past students and between past students and the College.

This is achieved through:

  • an extensive program of reunions and activities
  • sporting events
  • communications
  • online Alumni Community.

Upon graduation, Newington students are welcomed as ONU Life Members into the prestigious and extensive network of Old Newingtonians.

The ONU believes in fostering and supporting Alumni through:

  • the ONU Mentor Program
  • the Careers Expo
  • the College ONU Mental Health Fund
  • reunions at the College.

ONU Executive and Council

The objectives of the Council and Executive of The Old Newingtonians’ Union include strengthening the bonds between Old Newingtonians and the College and fostering and developing active support of the College.

ONU Mental Health Fund

The ONU Mental Health Fund is a referral service for Old Newingtonians providing support, assistance, and access to mental health medical and clinical resources.
