Advanced Practice 1: Achieving Ethical Understanding through Philosophical Inquiry

This face-to-face advanced course will help teachers to consolidate and extend their skills in planning and using collaborative inquiry-based methods in the classroom with a particular focus on the critical, creative and caring thinking requisite to the development of robust ethical understanding. 

Participants who complete all three Advanced Practice courses and associated tasks will earn a Federation of Asia-Pacific Philosophy in Schools Associations (FAPSA) Advanced Practice Certificate.

The Centre for Critical Thinking and Ethics and the Association for Philosophy in Schools NSW are part of a global network that advocates for children to engage in philosophical inquiry. The Centre is an official partner of the UNESCO Chair on the Practice of Philosophy with Children, based at the Université de Nantes in France. This workshop is endorsed by the Chair.
