One Nation Policies
One Nation has a variety of policies that appeal to some and seem completely unfeasible to others. Pauline Hanson has said many racist comments and the fall of two-party system for her is questionable. She has gone on record for saying the are “no good Muslim’s” a shockingly racist comment. Xenophobia, the definition of fearing those who come from other countries, is a word that describes Hanson’s policies very well. One Nation campaigns strongly for less immigrants who aren’t aligned with Australian values. As well as this, One Nation does not believe in a women’s right to get an Abortion and wishes for it to be outlawed. In summary, One Nation has many extreme views that not

The Replacement of a 2-Party System
Many people now believe that the Liberal Party is being replaced with One Nation Recent polls conducted by YouGov place Onc Nation on 28% while the Coalition only gaining 19% with Labor getting 32% vote. Not only could One Nation become a major party, they could very much become an official opposition after the Coalition Split after the Bondi Massacre when the former Opposition Leader.
Sussan Ley resigned and replaced by Angus Taylor, Liberal has lost the general respect from the public with the trust long gone. These right voters, not wanting to turn to Labor, they turned further right, to the party of One Nation. This has lead to the downfall of the faith in the two party system
The Future of One Nation and the 2-Party
System
The Future of the 2-Party System is definitely in jeopardy. But in more danger is the civil liberties of the people of Australia.
One Nation threatens Australia’s very democracy, with the threat of a Trump like country. They also threaten to bring out the worst of humanity inside Australia, opposing needed Hate Speech laws and Gun Registration laws. Not only would we be in danger but the environment as well. One Nation is heavily in favour of Coal and Oil exploration inside Australia claiming we have lost our power. In summary, One Nation threatens everything about our way of life and their ideas don’t belong inside Australia.
