Alongside the physical books, printed breakdowns gave students immediate access to local environmental data, linking the research on the shelves to the school&#8217;s ongoing waste audits and recycling initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"481\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newington.nsw.edu.au\/student-magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2026\/09\/image-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1549\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.newington.nsw.edu.au\/student-magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2026\/09\/image-1.png 640w, https:\/\/www.newington.nsw.edu.au\/student-magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2026\/09\/image-1-300x225.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Working with librarians, the students selected resources to give peers practical context behind everyday sustainability debates.
