The highlight of this day was<br>the year 9-10 band, \u2018The Brockilees\u2019. With TJ Nadanachandran on vocals,<br>delivering a stunning performance of Dire Straits\u2019 \u2018Walk of life\u2019.<br>Friday:<br>Friday continued the Rock The Steps Performances indoors due to wet weather.<br>The highlight of this day was the year 10 band \u2018Stereotypical\u2019. With Ridley<br>Marshall covering background vocals and guitar.<br>Tuesday:<br>Back outside on Tuesday when assembly cut our performances short. Reverie<br>delivered an opening number of \u2018Plush\u2019 by Stone Temple Pilots. Luckily,<br>Cousens Syndicate, who were postponed, opened the next day with Van Halen\u2019s<br>\u2018JUMP\u2019. The first Newington performance with a Keytar.<br>Wednesday:<br>As stated earlier, Cousens Syndicate opened today with Van Halen\u2019s \u2018JUMP\u2019.<br>However, 4th on today was a new Year 7 band, Inc (Issac &amp; Co.). Issac Chong<br>and Issac Xu delivered a crowd-shocking performance of \u2018Don\u2019t Stop Believin\u2019\u2019<br>by Journey, switching between keys and vocals throughout the performance,<br>singing in unison for the final chorus.<br>Thursday (7th Of May):<br>The final day of April and May\u2019s Rock The Steps, finished the event with a<br>bang, from a hammer falling. The year 8-9 band The Blueberries delivered a<br>stunning debut-performance of \u2018Hammer To Fall\u2019 by Queen. The Blueberries<br>were the only three-piece band in all of this year\u2019s first Rock The Steps. Apollo<br>Argy on bass, Alex Prunty leading the band with Mercury-like vocals, and a<br>Brian May guitar solo. Aimatai Vakaciwa still rocked the drum kit, even while<br>recovering from a foot injury.<br>This year\u2019s Rock the Steps was full of firsts, surprises classic songs, and<br>prodigies.
