Biggest Winners:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Travelling to Wollongong, the Knights tore the Dragons apart with a 44-10 drubbing. Their big guns were firing as Greg Marzhew scored a whopping 5 tries on the back of stellar performances from Bradman Best and Kalyn Ponga. On Saturday night, we arguably saw the performance of the round, the Sea Eagles dismantled the defending premiers 32-4. Luke Brooks is revitalising his career in the maroon and white, and Manly’s defensive intensity pinned the Broncos inside their own half for most of that rampant second half. The Dolphins are flying high, winning a clinical 44-22 demolition of the free-falling Bulldogs at Suncorp Stadium. After a sluggish start, where they trailed 12-4, they piled on 40 unanswered points in a display of attacking brilliance. Melbourne-bound Jamayne Isaako was untouchable, scoring a hat-trick and racking up a massive 257 run metres. The return of Kodi Nikorima from suspension proved to be the missing link. He provided three line break assists and four line break assists, showing exactly why the Dolphins’ attack lost without him. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Biggest Losers:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even with some of their brilliant attacking players returning, the Broncos were held to just four points. They lacked direction against Manyly, with Reece Walsh struggling to spark an attack that was suffocated by the Sea Eagles’ line speed for the full 90 minutes. They\u2019ll be looking over their shoulders as they sit dangerously close to the edge of the eighth. It was a dark day at WIN Stadium. The dragons remain winless through ten rounds, and their 44-10 loss to Newcastle suggests the gap between them and the rest of the competition is widening. A mix of poor defensive lapses and lacklustre individual performances anchored them to the bottom of the ladder. After a strong start to the season, the sharks have seem to lost the one thing that had kept them playing finals footy for the past few years. Consistency. They were humbled by a rampant Rabbitohs, losing36-12. Many fans expected the Sharks to Mitchell-less Bunnies but their defensive middle was exploited repeatedly, raising questions about their ability to compete with the heavy hitting packs in the competition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
