The Academic Wingman Programme is an initiative run by senior students that aims to assist junior students from Year 7-9 in understanding class content and completing homework and assignments. The initiative is designed to equip the younger students with the necessary resources to grasp difficult concepts learnt in class, building the confidence essential for success in the senior years. The initiative fosters a supportive space for one-to-one support.

The sessions will begin in Term 2 and will be on every Wednesday afternoon from 3.30-4.30pm. It is located in R7, inside the library space.

Services we offer:

  • Workshopping of assignments and assessment tasks
  • Assistance of homework questions
  • Assistance in understanding class content
  • Additional feedback on assessment results
  • General schooling questions
  • Anything else you could need a senior student for

Specialty subjects:

  • Maths
  • English
  • Science
  • PRS
  • Geography/History
  • Latin
  • Commerce

Please note:

We cannot do your work for you, but we will give you guidance on what you need to do. Also, sessions do not necessarily have to run for the entire time slot (3.30-4.30) and they are organised on a week to week basis (i.e. coming one week does not obligate you to come to the following week’s session). You are required to bring your own resources (i.e. homework, assignments) so that we can assist accordingly.
