ONU Council
The ONU Council is the governing body of the Alumni Union.
A five person Executive (President, Treasurer, Assistant Treasure, Secretary, Assistant Secretary) and ten elected Councillors – the ONU Council pursues the aims of the Union in conjunction with the alumni office of the school.
Any alumni is eligible to nominate for council – and encouraged to do so. The Union works best when members are highly engaged, and when there is representation from all generations on council to advocate for the interests of their cohort.

Give back to your classmates
ONU council is a voluntary commitment – usually of a few hours a month. It requires you to take ownership over key initiatives and events that you will organise and drive on behalf of all alumni to ensure we are creating a positive experience for graduates after school.
Maintain old connections
There’s no better way to stay connected to the school, staff and other alumni than putting your hand up to run for ONU council. Throughout the year there are multiple opportunities to deepen your understanding of how the school works, strategic plans for the school’s development.
If you are a current or future parent of the school, alongside involvement in the P&F it gives you a unique way to help support the experience of your kids.
