It has&nbsp;three main components of study:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Constructing History: A survey of the changes in the construction and\u202fapproaches to History over time,\u00a0through the\u00a0exploration\u00a0of\u00a0a variety of\u00a0historians, movements and contemporary examples.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A Case Study\u00a0allowing for the close examination of historians\u2019 work, we explore the historiography of Appeasement (1930s British Foreign Policy).\u00a0<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The History Project, where students explore a historiographical issue of their own choosing, develop it in consultation with staff and present it as a research paper.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><!-- section: section_text --><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Assessment \u2013 HSC course only<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table class=\"has-fixed-layout\"><tbody><tr><td><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"><strong>EXTERNAL ASSESSMENT<\/strong><\/span><\/td><td><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"><strong>WEIGHTING<\/strong><\/span><\/td><td><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"><strong>INTERNAL ASSESSMENT<\/strong><\/span><\/td><td><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"><strong>WEIGHTING<\/strong><\/span><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">One two-hour written examination in two parts.
