Students investigate how forces, structures,&nbsp;mechanisms&nbsp;and control systems work, and apply inquiry,&nbsp;reasoning&nbsp;and creativity to solve engineering problems.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Year 9, core modules develop knowledge and skills in the use of materials, tools and techniques related to structures and mechanisms. Students learn to manage projects, communicate ideas, work&nbsp;safely&nbsp;and think carefully about how well their solutions meet identified needs.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Practical experiences are used to develop students\u2019 capacity to design,&nbsp;produce&nbsp;and evaluate with persistence,&nbsp;precision&nbsp;and reflection.
