Prerequisites: Music Mandatory Study Course
Exclusions: Music 2; Music Extension
In the Preliminary and HSC courses, students will study music through learning experiences in performing, listening and creating within the context of a range of styles, periods and genres. In addition to core studies in performance, aural skills and composition, students nominate one elective study in either Performance, Composition or Musicology.
Music 1 students are not eligible to take Music Extension in Year 12.
