The Economics 11–12 course equips students with the knowledge to understand how households, businesses and governments make choices about the allocation of resources and their effect on the consumption, production and distribution of goods and services in an economy. The course provides opportunities for students to apply their knowledge of economics to analyse real-world problems and solutions that influence the efficiency, equity and wellbeing of a society.
